The Between the Gaps program is specifically for Australian children up to the age of eighteen years. The program is means tested and accepts referrals of low-income families and families who hold a health card.
Payments for services provided through the Between the Gaps program are directed to the service provider to safeguard the integrity of the program. To refer an overseas child to Children First, visit the Miracle sMiles page.
Who can refer a child?
We accept referrals from:
- hospital social workers
- support agencies
- aide staff in schools
Parents may also self-refer, however we will require supporting information from a relevant health professional or agency.
